A menu card informs your guests what to expect for their meal and of course, you don’t have to have it.  It adds a very nice touch to the table and it brings personalization and coordination to your overall wedding theme.

With the internet so conveniently placed in front of us everyday, we are able to find different styles of menu cards.  You can either go on line, go to a local stationery store or go to your nearby Michael’s or Jo Ann’s Crafts and pick your paper to match the color of your wedding.  Of course, it doesn’t have to be matchy matchy (a girl from Forever 21 told me to make sure to credit her if I ever mention that expression).

I found this oh so simple instructions for a very nice and elegant menu card from www.stylemepretty.com and how can you go wrong?

stylemepretty.com do it yourself wedding project menu cardInstructions:

You’ll want to buy a nice card stock to print on, preferably a white top card and a colored base card to match your wedding color palette. Once you’ve typeset the menu (using Word or something similar) and printed them, you simply need to trim the edges of your top card, then adhere on to your base card.  Using a really pretty ribbon (again to match your wedding colors), wrap the menu diagonally around the bottom corner towards the back, then up the back of the card, wrapping the opposite top corner. Tie the ribbon in a knot to secure.

And there you have it, an added style to your table.
