On one very grand and very festive day, Akila and Amit promised their eternal love for one another on New Years Eve at The Arizona Grand. The affair to remember was a trendy and personalized, but uniquely “theirs” wedding.
The sangeet was full of traditional Indian street fair with colorful fabrics, umbrellas, and linens, in orange, purple, fuchsia, and teal embellishment around the sangeet venue. There were even old school merchant carts as the food stations where all 400 of their guests were more than happy to get in line to devour the delicious Indian cuisine being served.
Akila and Amit’s mandap was very simple with trusses draped in coral fabric, and embellished with suspended garlands of flowers. This looked absolutely exquisite with the natural hills surrounding the Arizona Grand as their backdrop, coupled with the water feature of golf island you could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding to be photographed. Even though it was the coldest day of the year, the ceremony was still absolutely gorgeous.
With the simplicity and elegance of the ceremony, the couple went above and beyond when it came to the reception. Complete with a white dance floor embossed with their initials in rose gold. Above the dance floor was 36×36 of greenery suspended in the air with chandeliers and bistro lighting. VIP tables were lined with floating centerpieces and hanging glass baubles while the guest tables were decorated with very trendy geometric centerpieces with votive candles all around that made for one romantic atmosphere.
Just before midnight guests were given sparkling wine to ring in the New Year. When the countdown reached zero, every single person in the room was jumping, kissing, and hugging as the confetti cannon blew to “Happy New Year” all around. Akila and Amit had one amazing wedding to remember, and we could not be more grateful that they chose Apropos Creations to make all of their wedding dreams come true.
