Jigar and Erin wished for their guests to have a great time, desired a high level of inclusive pampered service and wanted their guests and family to experience something they hadn’t had before. The vision was to bring the outdoors inside transforming a typical ballroom and for both her Hindu and Western ceremonies to have two separate and distinct looks and feels. She wanted a more traditional Hindu ceremony and whimsical, ethereal Western ceremony.
Erin, who has Mexican/American background wanted to make sure that she incorporated both her families traditions and her future husbands Hindu traditions.
They wanted a destination wedding and looked at Aspen and Lake Tahoe before finally deciding on L’Auberge de Sedona Resort and Spa, which had several ceremony area options Her vision of an enchanted, creekside western wedding was held at Cottageside Lawn; and the Hindu ceremony was perfected by the majestic views of Spirit Song Lawn with its breathtaking overlook of the red rocks of Sedona.
