- Tell us about your company?
Vintage Chic Rentals is a boutique style rental business specializing in unique furniture and decor for weddings and events. We search all over to find our one of a kind items and are always adding new items to ensure we are on top of the trends. We love vintage pieces and specialize in that style but we also carry a little bit of everything. Whether you are looking for vintage, modern or classic styles we are sure to have something that will work.
- How did you get started in the wedding business?
I have always loved to entertain, and while planning my annual wine party 4 years ago I was looking to rent wine barrels, I had a very hard time finding them and that’s when the light bulb went off that there was a need for this type of business in the Phoenix area.
- What makes your different from other businesses in the field?
We do not carry large volumes of any one piece. While we do carry a large amount of inventory we do not have more than two of any given item. We want to bring that uniqueness to our clients.
- Why do you like working with weddings?
They are such a milestone event in our client’s lives and more than likely something that they have thought about way before ever being engaged. Our clients are always excited to come see our inventory and we love when they find exactly what they are looking for. We are here to help bring their vision and Pinterest boards to life!!
- What was the most difficult situation you have faced with a client and how did you resolve it?
There hasn’t been one difficult situation that stands out but many times our clients face budget issues. They want it all but it just isn’t in their budget, we try to our best to still achieve the look they want by staying within their means.
- From a vendor’s perspective, what’s the best piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?
Go meet with your vendors and make sure you feel comfortable with them and that they know what your vision is for their services. Be sure to ask all of the questions that you need to, we are there to help you and want you to be happy with your services, that is our number one goal.
- What or who motivates you?
Other wedding professionals within the industry motivate me. I love making those connections and helping each other be successful.
- What do you do when you are not working?
I am spending time with my husband and 3 children, traveling as much as we can (preferably to a beach!), cooking new recipes and reading decorating magazines
- What would we be surprised to learn about you?
I absolutely love bad reality TV and country music.
