Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been doing wedding and event planning?
We have been doing wedding, social, and corporate planning for over 10 years personally. Apropos Creations as a company was launched in September of 2009 and continues to do what we love best!
How did you become a wedding planner?
I was born to a very social mother who dragged me to every single birthday, reunion, school, and church function, along with my husband, who truly noticed my passion and how much I enjoyed planning our wedding and coordinating friends’ and family’s wedding and events are really what got me started. My husband persisted in getting my wedding planning business off the ground almost every day from the day we got happily married 21 years ago.
I finally faltered, and so here I am.
We love your services and your portfolio. Everything sounds fantastic… So can you tell me what sets you apart from all the other wedding and event planners out there?
While I cannot speak for the other wedding and event coordinators out there I can, however, speak for Apropos Creations! As mentioned before, my business was founded on a passion that I have had for this business and with time, that passion only continues to build and get stronger! I believe in an excellent saying “Do what you say you are going to do, and when you are going to do it” and I continue to stand behind what I say and do! Your event, whether it is your big day or another special occasion in your life, will be treated with the utmost priority and detail down to the place setting! I have a bountiful amount of resources and contacts that I work with on a daily basis to help you create the event of your dreams and within your budget.
This all sounds so wonderful but it also seems expensive. Are we going to be able to afford it?
We have designed a variety of packages to fit everyone’s style, personality, and budget. These packages range from full wedding planning to “day of” wedding coordination. You will surely find one that will fit in your pocket.
Who do you work best with?
Apropos Creations can tailor these services to ANYONE! We however especially love working with brides and grooms that are willing to accept and are open to suggestions. Regardless of how much assistance you need, from complete guidance to a few tweaks, or to just be there to listen to you vent, we are there to support you in any way.
Who is not going to benefit from our help in planning and coordinating your wedding?
When we work with our clients, we expect them to be open and honest with us so you benefit from the services that you have hired us for, whether it is coordinating, planning or designing. This will help avoid any issues that may arise while we are working together in making your day special and flawless.
Will I lose control of my wedding if you are planning it for me?
As much as we love planning weddings, we know that this is not our wedding. We are here for you! Your wish is our command and all we are after is for you to enjoy this very special day, your wedding. We want what you want, a beautiful and immaculate wedding that you will always treasure throughout time and that is our pledge to you.
Will you work with vendors that I have already found and people I want to work with?
Most definitely! We see it as a window of opportunity to gain new resources in the industry and we love working with new vendors and getting to know and seeing how they work. I have always believed in working as a team regardless if we have worked or not worked with the vendors already chosen.
Do you belong to any organizations or associations?
We sure do. We currently belong to Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC) which is where we had gotten our training course from and they have monthly conferences to give support and to educate us with the current trends. We also belong to Wedding & Event Networking (WEN), here in Phoenix, AZ so we can build new and strengthen relationships with a variety of vendors locally.
