J Barry Designs is an Event Production Company that creates custom floral and event design. We can provide it all… Flowers, linens, rentals, lighting, stationary, entertainment, furniture, and custom decor. The most important piece of our company is our design team. We approach every event with the outlook to work with all the vendors to create a positive, fun, team environment.
How did you get started in the wedding business? I started as an event coordinator with the ABA/BMX managing their Race For Life Event.
What makes your different from other businesses in the field? J Barry Designs is different from other design companies because we are the one stop shop for not only the couples and corporate clients but an amazing resource for planners as well. We do a high volume of business so it is awesome that many of the local planners use us but we can refer back to them as well. We make it look amazing and the planners manage the logistics and the client.
Why do you like working with weddings? We love the creativity. It is an awesome challenge every time a client comes to us with their ideas we get to design it, create it, and elevate it. We love the reaction when they see the final product!!
What was the most difficult situation you have faced with a client and how did you resolve it? Any event can have a hiccup. The most important thing is to always think “Solution” not “Problem”
From a vendor’s perspective, what’s the best piece of advice you can give to engaged couples? Enjoy the planning it is not suppose to be stressful.
What or who motivates you? My awesome husband and 4 AMAZING kids
What do you do when you are not working? Hang out with my family… go on road trips,, listen to music, play!!
What would we be surprised to learn about you? At home… I am the quite one in the house. These people are CRAZY!!
