Cappuccino Subito
Tell us about Cappuccino Subito…
Cappuccino Subito started in 2008. The idea came from attending many events that featured elegant and delicious meals, followed by an ordinary cup of coffee. We were determined to make the coffee portion of the meal very special & memorable. We have developed a complete line of drinks and a personalized signature drink.
How did you get started in the wedding business?
Brides and grooms originally found us on our website. Once their guests experienced our cappuccino catering stations, they wanted it for their weddings. Most of our wedding business is now on a referral basis from former clients.
What makes your different from other businesses in the field?
We strive to make our portion of the wedding reception as elegant and delicious as possible. There are a few other cappuccino catering businesses in the valley, but we are told by our clients, that Cappuccino Subito is heads and shoulders above the rest, in presentation and quality….and who are we to argue?
Why do you like working with weddings?
A wedding is such an important life cycle event, the fact that we can be part of the joy and add something special and memorable to the day, is our pleasure.
What was the most difficult situation you have faced with a client and how did you resolve it?
We were doing a wedding in a country club. We were serving from the patio area, unbeknownst to the event planner, a nest of baby owls were hatching with a very protective mama owl was very close at hand. We dismantled our serving station, during the reception, and moved it to another location, without missing a beat.
From a vendor’s perspective, what’s the best piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?
We would suggest the use of a wedding planner. This will reduce the stress and in the long run, often saves money.
What or who motivates you?
Our motivation comes from being surrounded by people with positive attitudes. Enthusiasm and passion for what we are doing, including all of our choices, personal and in business.
What do you do when you are not working?
We enjoy travelling, whether it be by car in cross country trips or overseas. We also enjoy cooking up delicious meals together, with ingredients from our veggie garden, then gobbling down the yummy food with wine.
