Real Wedding… Jo Ann + Amoa at Beverly Heritage Hotel Milpitas, California
Jo Ann and Amoa’s wedding at Beverly Heritage Hotel is not so new, and to be honest, this wedding, our wedding, is 23 years old, and I wanted to share our story, our love.
Side note- Beverly Heritage Hotel in Milpitas is no more. It is now Sonesta Silicon Valley.
Side note #2- YES! I was blond!!! 🙂
The Ceremony
Sassy, sexy and glamorous, Jo Ann and Amoa’s wedding at Beverly Heritage Hotel happened on a rainy and cloudy day filled with loved ones. One of the hotel’s ballroom was transformed into the ceremony area to accommodate families and guests so they don’t get wet. With the staff’s swiftness, they were able to transform the room as a sacred area.

The Cake Smash
As we were cutting the cake, I was asking Amoa if we will be smashing the cake onto each other. He said no but I knew better. I made sure I had a handful of this sweetness in my hand just in case he decided to. Lo and behold, being the predictable man that he is, he actually was thinking of doing a cake smash! No worries, I surely won this smash, right onto the lower part of his face. 🙂 I couldn’t have asked for a better Real Wedding… Jo Ann + Amoa at Beverly Heritage Hotel!

Happy, happy anniversary mahal (tagalog for love). For the last 23 years, I would lie if I say I haven’t gotten close to say F*@# off (and I am sure the feeling is mutual) but I am very happy with the fact that we didn’t. With all the years that we’ve been through, sweat, tears (both joy and pain), laughter, and love, we have endured a whole lot. We probably can say we’ve gone through it all but regardless, we definitely are stronger than ever. Like I told you when we got married, this marriage is for the long haul, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part.
Amoa, here’s to another 23 more years of crazy lovin’!!! I love you with all my heart!
