This month’s Vendor Spotlight….

Amoroma Productions!amoroma productions

Amoroma Productions was first established in 2006. With an initial focus on narrative films we soon found ourselves working on everything from documentaries to commercials. We believe it’s this type of diverse background that helps us continue to grow as artists. Our goal is tell compelling stories that will shape the way the audience thinks and feels.

How did you get started in the wedding business?

We first got started in the Wedding Industry in 2013 when we were approached by a friend of ours who was getting married. She had been a fan of our narrative work and asked if we would be interested in filming her wedding. We said yes, fell in love with the process and the rest is history.

What makes your different from other businesses in the field?

What makes our company different is how invested we are in the couples that hire us. We want to make sure we deliver the most personal video possible. Our job is to not only capture all of the details and emotions of such an important Celebration, but to create the perfect Experience.

Why do you like working with weddings?

There is something incredibly moving about filming a wedding. Being a part of a Celebration that brings two families together is extremely gratifying. We aren’t afraid to admit that we are hopeless romantics and get sentimental at just about every wedding we film.

What was the most difficult situation you have faced with a client and how did you resolve it?

We pride ourselves on the customer service experience so there really haven’t been many difficult situations. If anything, there are always clients that try to get you to stretch beyond what was agreed upon in the contract. We often find it best to give them what they are asking for or at least compromise.  We tend to under promise and over deliver.

From a vendor’s perspective, what’s the best piece of advice you can give to engaged couples?

The best piece of advice we could give couples would be to do some serious research when selecting your vendors. Make sure they are a good fit for your personality and not just your budget. After all, you will likely be spending one of the most important days of your lives with them.

What or who motivates you?

What motivates us most is to continue to evolve as creatives. Each wedding we film gets better than the previous one because we won’t settle for a mediocre standard. We have to keep pushing ourselves to try new things and leave every couple wowed!

What do you do when you are not working?

It’s hard to say because I feel we are always working. When not working on weddings we are filming commercials, documentaries or short films. When we do have time away from video production in general we like to spend time with our loved ones. Mostly take advantage of the simple things like relaxing or going hiking.

What would we be surprised to learn about you?

The most surprising thing would probably just how introverted we are. We are used to being behind the camera, behind the scenes. That’s what we love to do. The work part of it is networking and business meetings. That doesn’t come as easily as the duties that comes with being filmmakers.
